Health and Safety:

Immaculata is concerned with your health and safety. Here's how the University will make sure you'll get the most from your time at Immaculata:

A Safe Campus
Immaculata’s campus is very safe and the university is always attentive to lighting, off-campus visitors, and other potential safety concerns. Regulations governing residential life are also written with safety as a prominent concern.

Campus Security Staff
Immaculata has its own 24-hour security staff who are on campus to respond to calls, maintain the campus lost & found, provide emergency medical services, and generally work to keep you safe.

Fitness
Between Immaculata’s newly-renovated fitness and athletic facilities, intramural sports, jogging areas around campus, and intercollegiate sports teams, you can stay in shape and have fun doing it!

The hours of the fitness facility are posted on the student website, and information about sports can be found at the Athletics Page.

Health Center
Immaculata’s health center is staffed with a board-certified physician, registered nurses, and staff skilled in caring for college students. This on-campus facility is open Monday through Friday.  Check out the hours.

Care is provided free of charge or billed to your insurance company depending on the visit type. Some lab tests and immunizations are available through the Health Center for the students convenience.

Any after-hours emergencies are directed to the Safety Office.

Counseling Center
Immaculata provides counseling to help students deal with stress, eating disorders, alcohol or substance abuse, and other problems. Appointments may be scheduled with a licensed clinical psychologist free of charge.
